While most people wait until the end or beginning of the year to make their resolutions, Cardi B decided to get a head start this time.
After celebrating her 33rd birthday this weekend, the American rapper took to Instagram to thank fans for their birthday wishes.
“Thanks to everyone for all the birthday wishes! Normally everyone makes their New Year’s resolutions on January 1st, but I made mine last night!” she wrote in her post on Sunday, October 13.
The I like it The singer also looked back with great pleasure on the past year, in which she released her long-awaited second album, Am I the drama? “I feel happy but most of all blessed! Year 32 was a year I will never forget!”
While she also shared her intentions for what’s to come, the Grammy winner described her new era as her “Jesus Year.” She wrote: ’33 is the year of Jesus and I have to say I have never felt so covered and so protected by the man above himself.’
“He always reminds me that I am chosen and I am anointed and this is the best gift I could ever ask for,” she added. “Thank you all for supporting me and loving me! I love you too!”

Cardi, who is currently expecting her fourth child, will embark on her first North American arena tour in February in support of her sophomore album Am I the Drama, which was released on September 19.
