Carly Rae Jepsen is pregnant with her first child!
Just a month after tying the knot with music producer Cole MGN, the Maybe call me hitmaker revealed on Instagram that they are expecting their first child. On November 3, she shared a series of black and white photos on her Instagram that showed off her growing baby bump next to her new husband, whose full name is Cole Marsden Greif-Neill.
“Oh hi baby,” the 39-year-old singer wrote in the caption along with a heart emoji, while Cole. 40, replied sweetly with three heart-eyed emojis.
The pregnancy announcement comes just weeks after the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at New York’s iconic Chelsea Hotel on October 4. According to FashionAbout 100 guests attended the wedding, which took place in the hotel’s Bard Room.
Jepsen and Cole’s love story began with their shared passion for music. The Canadian singer said this People magazine last year that they met while working on her 2023 album The most beautiful time.
“You have to reach a certain level of comfort with someone before you can get to those really playful, joyful, experimental places,” she said, describing how their creative chemistry quickly turned romantic.
Their engagement followed in September 2024, when Jepsen shared photos of the couple enjoying nature together and showing off her dark gemstone ring, writing: “Very involved here.”
Over the years, Jepsen has often spoken about her current husband online, calling him her “real shy guy” in reference to her 2023 song and thanking him for filling her life with “constant support.”
Now the couple is starting their next chapter together as parents.
