Carrie Underwood made a sincere journey along the memory strip in an emotional tribute to Brett James after the news of his tragic death.
The Grammy-winning songwriter died on 18 September in a plane crash in Macon County near Franklin, North Carolina at the age of 57.
Shortly after James’s death was confirmed, Underwood, 42, went to her Instagram to the Jesus, take the steering wheel Hitmaker.
“Some things are just inscrutable,” she started the long message, in addition to three photos of those who have been captured over the years. “The loss of Brett James for his family, friends and our music community is too great to put into words.”
“Brett was the embodiment of ‘Cool’, the American idol Winner further wrote and remembered to remember two memories with the legendary musician.
One of her favorite moments was to hear him sing Cowboy CasanovaBecause “a brutal girl had to sound a lot of anthem to come to get out of a macho -cerel like him, but somehow he even made that cool.”
In another memory, the Remind me Singer told a songwriting session in which James came in with most of the already written song.
Although she has contributed some melody and touches, she told him that she was not feeling well to take credit right away. But James insisted that they split it evenly and showed the generosity and humility that defined him
“Brett loved the Lord. What the only consolation is that we can now hold,” the country singer continued. “My favorite songs to sing from us are those he or we wrote about Jesus because the thoughts and feelings behind them are so sincere and pure. I will never again sing a note of them without thinking about him.”
“The death of Brett leaves a hole in all of us that I fear it won’t disappear,” she wrote before she concluded. “I love you, man. I’ll see you again.”
Underwood and James worked together on the Grammy-winning song Jesus, take the steering wheel as well as Cowboy Casanova.
