Catherine Zeta-Jones is a well-known actress who has starred in several popular big-budget films. However, sometimes she admits to having thoughts about the roles she passed on.
These offers mainly apply to films with high budgets. Still, the actress says People she does wonder about that, but overall she adds that she is satisfied.
“I was offered a lot in my early career, and sometimes I think, ‘Eh, I should have done it. But I didn’t.’
When it comes to her personal life and her work commitments, Zeta-Jones says balancing the two is ultimately a choice.
“I’ve been very fortunate in my career that I haven’t had to work. I’ve been working since I was nine, so it was always a choice to go out and leave my family, my husband and my home and go to work.”
Zeta-Jones, who has appeared in several commercial films, also notes, “I was fortunate enough to be able to make some pretty big commercial films – that were artistic – early in my career. I never really did anything for the money.”
In the meantime, the star’s latest film, The gallerist, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
