Céline Dion was diagnosed with a rare disease in 2022. Yet two years later she performed at the Olympic Games in Paris. Now the musician is planning to make a bold comeback.

According to Variety, My heart will continue will perform a series of concerts in the City of Love, with specific dates yet to be announced.

La Pressea French-Canadian newspaper, was the first to report this after posters of Dion’s iconic songs spread throughout Paris, sparking rumors that a comeback is on the cards for the musician.

According to reports, she will perform two concerts every week at La Défense Arena in Paris in September and October.

Dion is set to perform at the same stadium, which she had to postpone in 2020 due to the pandemic, and later her health problems caused the concert to be further postponed.

Her illness, Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a rare neurological and autoimmune disease, not only hampered her other daily functions but also affected her ability to sing.

But years of hard work and perseverance have earned the musician, whose SPS battle was documented in the 2024 documentary I’m Celine Dionis ready to take the stage.

Dion is now making good on her promise, after what she did to her in the doctor’s office, which states: “If I can’t run, I’ll walk. If I can’t walk, I’ll crawl… I won’t stop.”
