Channing Tatum shares important health update after surgery

Channing Tatum has shared an honest update on his difficult recovery after undergoing shoulder surgery last month.

Taking to his Instagram account on Monday, the 45-year-old actor opened up about the mental impact of his recovery as he showed off his scar.

In a shared clip, the Logan Lucky Star said he is “gaining some mobility back,” but that “it has atrophied so much” that he “feels like a toddler.”

“Good news though is that the doctor finally gave me the green light so I can train, so it’s finally a good day,” Channing said.

The Magic Mike The actor further shared that this whole saga has been particularly “rough” for him.

“This has been a tough period. I’ve been up and down mentally more than I think I’ve ever been in my life,” he added.

At the end of the clip, Channing revealed that he has about six weeks to prepare for his next film.

“This has been the lowest of all lows. But it’s starting to come out the other side. I’m feeling better mentally than I have in months. Six weeks before we start the love story of the Isle of Mann TT motorcycle. So let the grind begin,” Roofer actor captioned the post.
