Channing Tatum is reportedly ready to make his writing debut.
According to the latest report, the acting sensation will be releasing a romance novel next year. This book was co-written with Roxane Gay, who happens to be the acclaimed writer behind it Bad feminist.
Looking back on their unexpected story, Roxane recalled that it came about “in the most ridiculous way” when she appeared on Dua Lipa’s show. Service95 podcast.
The spark for this new beginning was apparently ignited when a journalist asked Tatum about a particular writer who had a crush on him.
‘A journalist asked him if he knew there was a writer who was in love with him and wrote a book called Bad feminist‘, said Roxane.
“And he said, ‘Oh, I’ve never heard of it, but I’ll look into it.’ And then he did it.”
After this, the actor delved deeply into Gay’s work and found inspiration to collaborate.
“And then someone approached him about doing a book project, and he said, ‘Yes, I would love to, if I can write it with this person.’ “
According to the author, the book is expected to be released “hopefully next year”, with plenty of raunchy romance.
She confirmed: “It’s very sexy. Lots of sex.”
