Charli XCX opened up about her changing thoughts on beauty and revealed she might get a mid-facelift in the future.
The 33-year-old pop star admitted that she has always been fascinated by cosmetic surgery and previously received Botox, although she later stopped doing it.
In her new cover interview with Vanity fairCharli said she often thinks about how she looks and what she could change.
“I always think about how I look and what I would change about my face,” she said.
The 360 The singer explained that she constantly thinks about what she could “pull and stretch,” but reminds herself not to get too caught up in those thoughts.
The Sympathy is a knife hitmaker revealed Botox started affecting her acting auditions. “I miss it,” she admitted.
“I did a few audition tapes where I had Botox, and my eyebrows did that funny thing when they went up a little bit.”
Charli, the singer and songwriter who is currently rumored to be feuding with Taylor Swift, has long faced speculation about cosmetic work. In 2024, injector Molly Bailey compared photos of her from 2013 and 2024, suggesting possible treatments such as a brow lift, lip fillers and Botox.
However, the Speed driving singer responded light-heartedly, writing: “Omg I’m obsessed with this s***.”
She also joked about needing “more Botox before accepting awards” in 2023.
Speaking of online rumors, the music icon said she no longer bothers to correct false claims. “If enough people on the internet say it’s true, it becomes the truth,” she said. She added: “Fact checking is dead.”
Additionally, Charli further admitted that she sometimes says too much, confessing, “I have a big mouth and I say s*** and sometimes that gets me in trouble.”
