Charlie Puth talks about some big lifestyle changes after becoming famous.
In a recent interview with Rolling stone published on January 20, the We don’t talk anymore The artist, who is starting a family with his wife Brooke Sansone, is now living an authentic life after being unreal early in his music career.
During the conversation, Puth recalled a moment that hit him hard, when pretending to be someone hurt him.
“I was in New York, I was staying in Greenwich, and I don’t drink at all,” says the Goodbye singer recalled. “I think it clouds my judgment.”
But before the release of his third album, Puth looked back: “I thought, ‘I’m just going to have a rager.’ And I woke up with the worst hangover I’ve ever felt in my life. It lasted, I think, two days.
He continued, “And I remember the next morning they all wanted to get coffee, in a picturesque part of town. I saw them all eating, and then I just turned the other way and walked back to the hotel and stayed there alone for a few days.”
“It’s hard to describe, but after years of surrounding myself with the wrong things and saying the wrong things, it’s profound when it all comes to a standstill one day at the age of 30 in New York City,” Charlie artist added.
