Christopher Nolan has shared his honest thoughts on the globally acclaimed action-packed franchise Fast and furious.
During a conversation with TV host Stephen Colbert, the Oppenheimer director revealed that he is a fan of it Fast and furious movies.
When Stephen asked the Academy Award winner, “I’m told you’re a fan of the Fast and Furious franchise.”
To which Christopher replied that he doesn’t feel guilty about loving Fast and furious films, adding, “It’s a great action franchise.”
During the chat the Commencement The director was shocked to know that Stephen had never seen any of it Fast and furious movies.
“I watch those films all the time; I love them. I’m surprised you’ve never seen one. You don’t have to watch them all at once,” the British filmmaker said.
Christopher encouraged the TV personality to watch the films, adding, “It’s only the last few where a very specific arc of mythology has developed.”
For those unfamiliar, Christopher is currently preparing for the release of his new film, The Odyssey. The film will hit theaters on July 17, 2026. The film will see Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Tom Holland and Zendaya playing the lead roles.
