Connor Ingram delivers standout performance as Oilers secure fourth straight win over Kraken

Goaltender Connor Ingram had a standout performance as the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Seattle Kraken 3-0 on Tuesday.

Ingram celebrated his 29th birthday with a 27-save shutout, his second of the season, helping Edmonton extend their winning streak to four games.

The Oilers opened the scoring early and maintained control throughout the game. Goals from Max Jones, Kasperi Kapanen and captain Connor McDavid secured the victory.

Edmonton improved to 38-28-9 this season and has now won six of its last eight games. The team also moved closer to the Pacific Division standings, trailing leader Anaheim by two points and third-place Vegas by three points.

The Oilers were particularly effective when scoring first and had a 28-5-5 record in those situations this season.

For Seattle, the defeat remains a difficult stretch. The Kraken have now lost six of their last seven games and remain just outside of a wildcard playoff position.

Goaltender Philipp Grubauer made 21 saves for Seattle, but the team struggled to generate enough offense to challenge Edmonton.
