Cristin Milioti shares a disappointing update on ‘Penguin’ season 2

Cristin Milioti shared a disappointing update about season 2 of the Emmy-nominated show, The penguin.

The first season of the show, which released in September 2024, turned out to be a huge success and fans have been waiting for the new part ever since.

But in a recent interview, Milioti dismissed the possibility of a second season.

“Yes, there is no official word on anything,” she said. “I would actually like nothing more.”

The 40-year-old actress shared a disappointing update about the show while promoting her new horror-comedy film, Friendalong with co-star Topher Grace at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.

After Milioti’s response, Cristin said, “Whoever is responsible for making that decision, what are you doing?”

“This is the best thing I’ve ever seen [television]’ he added. “We need to have a season two.”

For those unfamiliar, Milioti played Sofia Falcone in the first season of The penguin.

Earlier in an interview with INDIE THREADthe actress spoke about the future of her character.

“It seemed like there were endless possibilities of where she could go,” Milioti said.

“Obviously, I would like to see her get out of Arkham. That’s number one. I don’t want her there. So I want to see her get out of there, and then get revenge,” the man added. How I met your mother actress.
