Dakota Johnson was once rejected for showing “manners” during an audition.
During a recent interview with Hits Radiothe ’50 Shades of Grey’ actress opened up about a past audition where she wasn’t selected just because she greeted everyone in the room because her action was misread.
“I went into the room and shook everyone’s hands and introduced myself,” Dakota recalled.
The ‘Materialists’ star went on to say, “And then I did the scene and I left. And the feedback I got was that because I had introduced myself and shook hands with everyone, I was pompous, I was schmoozing and full of myself.”
Dakota revealed that the feedback left her shocked and confused as she noted, “I was like, what? I didn’t get the job because they said I was stubborn.”
But Dakota remained positive about the “pretty crazy” situation, noting that she “just had manners.”
The actress appeared on Hits Radio to promote her new film ‘Splitsville’, which was released in the US in September. Now everything is ready for release in the UK.
