Danielle Brooks remembers the time her daughter Freeya lost a tooth.
In a new conversation with PEOPLE MagazineDanielle Brooks revealed a funny parenting moment when her 6-year-old daughter, Freeya, accidentally lost and swallowed a tooth.
“She lost her third tooth and accidentally swallowed it,” says Brooks (36).
Despite the accident, she said the Tooth Fairy still made her rounds.
“This tooth fairy still showed up,” said the A Minecraft movie said star.
She added: “She came. Yes. She literally flew the plane and made sure she had her money.”
It’s worth noting that Brooks previously described her daughter as having a little Beyoncé in her.
When asked in October 2025 if Freeya had started dance lessons, the Peacemaker actress revealed, “She does dance, which is like tap and ballet, and I got to watch her perform.”
“My daughter performed, and she looked like Beyoncé because she found herself standing in front of everyone, so she really had her own Beyoncé moment. It was really cute. Diva in training.”
Danielle shares Freeya with her husband Dennis Gelin, who she says is equally enamored with their daughter’s feisty personality.
