Lily Allen used her new album to detail the heartbreak and betrayal she experienced in her and David Harbour’s fractured marriage, and now the woman allegedly at the center of her broken marriage has spoken out.
In an interview with the Daily mail published on October 25, the woman accused of having an affair with Allen’s estranged husband has been identified as costume designer Natalie Tippett.
The 34 year old met the Stranger things actor, 50, in 2021 while working on the Netflix film We have a ghost in New Orleans.
“Of course I heard the song,” Tippett told the outlet, reportedly rolling her eyes when asked about Allen’s new album West End girl – specifically the songs Tennis And Madeline – which refers to the affair. “But I have a family and things to protect. I have a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter and I understand this is going on. It’s a little scary for me.”
Tippett reportedly started seeing Harbour, 50, during filming – with the actor allegedly flying her to his home in Atlanta without Allen’s knowledge.
The singer later found incriminating lyrics on his phone, which inspired her devastating track Tennis: “So I read your text, and now I regret it… You’re not playing with me and who is Madeline?”
Allen, who married Harbor in 2020, filed for divorce last month after what she described as “emotional turmoil.” She later went to a trauma treatment center after learning that her husband had had a three-year affair and even joined celebrity dating app Raya.
