David Beckham and Victoria Beckham are reportedly considering legal action against their son Brooklyn Beckham following his explosive social media post against the family.
According to Heat magazinethe former footballer and his fashion designer wife are trying to protect their brand and public image after Brooklyn accused them of controlling his life.
An insider revealed that David and Victoria have been in discussions with advisors about how to respond to Brooklyn’s accusations on social media.
“David and Victoria have been in ongoing discussions with advisors since this happened, weighing all options on how to respond and manage the family image going forward,” they said.
The source added: “A large portion of them want to hold out and avoid fueling the rumor mill. But if Brooklyn and Nicola double down with an outright all-or-nothing or more vicious public attacks, then the growing consensus is that they will have no choice but to let the lawyers go.”
“The idea of suing their own son is beyond devastating, and the whole situation is very painful for the entire family. They don’t want to go to war with their own son, which is truly heartbreaking,” the insider added.
However, “Brooklyn has crossed the line to such a heinous and inexcusable degree and David and Victoria have been told that they could, at the very least, have a defamation case.”
“There is a big push for them to explore legal options.”
