Adrian Grenier and Anne Hathaway haven’t met since they last shared the big screen The devil wears Prada.
After expressing his disappointment at not being included The devil wears Prada 2the 49-year-old actor opened up about his last meeting with Hathaway.
‘I didn’t see it [Anne]”, he then replied American weekly Grenier asked while promoting his new film Self-control.
“I haven’t seen her since either,” he noted.
Grenier revealed that he hasn’t seen Hathaway since their hit film debuted in 2006. They were last seen together on the red carpet at the film’s premiere in New York.
Their castmates Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci and Daniel Sunjata were also present at the event.
With the film’s sequel set to hit theaters on May 1, Grenier won’t be playing his Hathaway’s less-than-supportive on-screen boyfriend again.
He previously told the outlet, “I would be bitter if I wasn’t so excited for Anne and the crew, and excited for the sequel myself.”
“I’m a fan of the movie, and so I’m looking forward to seeing the sequel. So yeah, I mean, I was obviously disappointed, but you know – I can’t be there for everything, you know?”
As for why he won’t be part of the sequel, Grenier expressed his thoughts, saying, “That makes sense, I mean, Andy moves up and you know, I get it. Yeah. Nate’s the devil, according to some people… he wanted to settle down, I guess, and you know what. I understand that.”
