Journalist Piers Morgan shared a birthday tribute on social media to veteran actor Dick Van Dyke, who turned 100 on Saturday.
Morgan shared two throwback photos with the comedian, writing, “Happy 100th birthday to the wonderful Dick Van Dyke. What an amazing character, still so full of life, energy and humor. I love him.”
From “Mary Poppins” to “Night at the Museum” and his own long-running TV comedy, Dick Van Dyke has done it all during a career in show business that spanned seven decades.
In 2013, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Screen Actors Guild, just a year after Mary Tyler Moore, his co-star on the 1960s Dick Van Dyke Show, received the same honor.
