Doja Cat’s family drama broke out again involving her father, Dumisani Dlamini.
Dlamini recently took to his Instagram account and posted several videos telling his side of the story about the strained relationship between him and his daughter Doja Cat.
While Doja Cat previously claimed her father was absent from her life, Dlamini denied the allegations, saying her mother led her to believe he had abandoned the family.
In the videos, Dlamini said he always took care of his children and helped them as they grew up.
He also claimed that after Doja’s career became successful, her mother started damaging his reputation and convinced the singer that he had left them.
His response came after Doja Cat posted a video titled “Deadbeat Chronicles,” in which she joked about trolling her father by sending him a link to explicit content in lieu of tickets to one of her Tour Ma Vie concerts in South Africa.
Commenting on the situation, Dlamini said: “[Doja] played the cards because of her mother’s influence. She came to South Africa, had the power to see me and pretended.”
He added: “What I want to say to you is: I’m sorry if I ever hurt anyone’s nerves. I am a man of integrity, respect and love.”
