Edie Falco recently got candid and opened up about working with James Cameron Avatar: Fire and Ashes.
The 62-year-old American actress, who plays antagonist General Ardmore in the film Avatar film franchise, attended the screening of the Mayor of Kingston season 4 in New York.
In conversation with PEOPLE magazine during the event, Falco reflected on her experiences with the latter Avatar movie by saying, “It’s a different whole world.”
She said: “And it’s quite an honor to be part of the things that James Cameron creates and makes happen. He’s quite amazing in that regard.”
‘He invented machines and… [new] ways of shooting, and to have been invited to be part of that, I feel very lucky,” said the Law and order True crime actress noted.
When the reporter asked her about working under Cameron’s wing in the Avatar franchise, Falco fully admitted that it was ‘refreshing’, especially the Titanic the creator’s approach, which is completely different from that of other directors she had worked with.
“He’s like a little kid, you know? He has all kinds of ideas and…” [curiosity]and he has the kind of enthusiasm about creating a story that you do when you’re just starting out. And that was very refreshing,” she explained.
It is relevant to mention that Avatar: Fire and Ashes was released on December 19, 2025.
