Emma Heming Willis is revisiting the time she first started dating husband Bruce Willis.
The actor’s wife turned to her Instagram on Wednesday to share a throwback story of herself with Willis, captioning it, “18 years ago he became my boyfriend. With one kiss on my head, time stood still.”
“I am so lucky to know this kind of love,” she added.
Speaking about one of her previous romantic days, Heming Willis added: “I got to see this other side of Bruce, who was a family man.”
She told PEOPLE. “During that trip, I fell really hard for him. That was the beginning of our love story.”
“When the girls were swimming in the pool, he would come home and dive in with his clothes on, just for a laugh. He’s the iconic girls’ dad,” Heming Willis added of her husband.
Heming Willis further spoke to PEOPLE exclusively at End Well 2025, saying life has changed after her husband’s dementia diagnosis. Speaking specifically about Christmas, Heming Willis said the holiday has become different. has been different since Bruce’s illness
“It’s joyful. It’s just different. Bruce loved Christmas and we love celebrating it with him. It just looks different, so we kind of adapted to that.”
