Eric Dane leans on family during one of the toughest battles of his life.
The Euphoria actor, 52, was spotted on October 30 on a rare outing with wife Rebecca Gayheart and their 13-year-old daughter Georgia in West Hollywood, after the couple called off their divorce earlier this year in March. A month later, Dane announced his ALS diagnosis.
The trio appeared close as they headed to Sushi Park, with Dane smiling in a wheelchair as Gayheart and Georgia walked alongside him.
Gayheart, who shares daughters Georgia and Billie, 15, with Dane, shared People magazine in September that the diagnosis was “heartbreaking” for their family.
“My girls are really suffering, and we’re just trying to get through it,” she said. Still, she added that the fight has brought them closer together. “Eric will always be my family… we just do it with dignity, grace and love.”
Gayheart initially filed for divorce from the Grey’s anatomy star in 2018 after 14 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
However, Dane’s health struggles put things into perspective for Gayheart, who opened up People“We’re definitely dealing with something that brought us all together, and Eric will always be my family, whether we’re married or not, or live in the same house or not.”
