Expert say police may be ignoring major risk about the suspect

Suspect Nancy Guthrie is still on the run, former FBI officer warns

Nancy Guthrie, Savannah’s mother, is still missing. She disappeared from her home almost six weeks ago. Yet police have so far been unable to provide a solid lead.

Now a former FBI agent, Jennifer Coffinadaffer, has shared her observation, suggesting authorities may be overlooking a detail of the case that “no one is talking about.”

The expert has raised the alarm that the suspect, who may be a murderer, is still on the run.”

“Another point that no one seems to be talking about: there is a kidnapper (at least one) and a potential murderer (maybe more) on the streets,” she wrote.

Someone like the suspected kidnapper poses a threat to the community that could be hunting for his next target.

‘Who will be their next target? Yes, that seems to be it [a] highly targeted kidnapping (such as the murders in Idaho), but there are still individuals out there capable of extreme violence.”

Coffinader, who has almost three decades of experience, added that she did not want to create panic, but noted that authorities must put all their energy into achieving what she said are two objectives.

“Finding Nancy alive was Objective 1. Objective 2 was to get a kidnapper (and likely murderer) off the street. Will these person(s) strike again? This is a big deal. Not trying to stir up hysteria, just saying that protecting the community seems to be getting lost in the noise.”

At the end, Coffinader presented a few thoughts to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department on what to do next.

“[Law enforcement] needs a quick press to let the public know if there are any more details they can provide so that the public can help regarding vehicle/time parameters/other important days to be aware of. The public is one of LE’s best tools when it comes to solving the question of who took Nancy.”

Nancy was kidnapped from her home near Tucson, Arizona on February 1.
