POORSTACY, a rapper from Florida, died suddenly, shocking many of his fans, who thought it was suicide.
This belief is contrary to what officials say. Their early investigation shows there was no foul play after the rap star suffered a medical emergency at the hotel he was staying in in Boca Raton.
But what has fueled the rumors of his suicide, at least on paper, is that authorities have not yet released an official cause of death or his young age.
He was only 26.
These reasons created buzz on social media, where several fans took to Reddit to share.
“Am I the only one who saw the suicide note in his story two weeks ago? He deleted it afterwards but it was quite intense and detailed. Sad to see the headline today,” one fan wrote.
Another added: “He even had a song dedicated to it…I also wanted people to watch him etc. I feel sorry for his son.”
“That was definitely a telling sign. I wish he could have gotten more support and love, but sometimes even that just isn’t enough,” a third fan wrote.
Amid the suicide speculations, a new twist came in POORSTACY’s shocking death after his friend reportedly said that the Florida rapper was alive and denied the news of his death.
However, the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner and Boca Raton Police put the rumors to rest when they confirmed POORSTACY’s death.
