Finneas has spoken out against “powerful old white men” for criticizing his sister Billie Eilish for her anti-ICE speech at the 2026 Grammys.
On Wednesday, February 4, the 28-year-old American singer-songwriter and musician posted a post on Threads.
Finneas wrote critically: “I saw many very powerful old white men outraged by what my 24-year-old sister said during her acceptance speech.”
“We can literally see your names in the Epstein files,” he added.
For those who don’t know, at the Grammy Award ceremony on Sunday, February 1, Billie gave a speech about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after accepting the Song of the Year award for Wild flower.
Joined on stage with her brother Finneas, the 24-year-old American singer-songwriter first thanked the Recording Academy and then said: “As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything other than no one is illegally on stolen land.”
“And yeah, it’s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now. I just feel very hopeful in this room and I feel like we just have to keep fighting and speaking out and protesting. Our voices really do matter and people matter,” she joked.
The Ocean eyes singer went on to curse out ICE, but her words resonated during the CBS broadcast of the event.
It is pertinent to mention that Eilish was not the one who called in ICE; Bad Bunny also heavily criticized it.
