William Jonathan Drayton Jr., who goes by Flavor Flav, recently revealed that he has not yet received an invitation to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.
On Saturday, November 22, the 66-year-old American rapper and television personality spoke with PEOPLE magazine during the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Despite being called “King Swiftie,” Flav told the station that he didn’t receive an invite from Swift to her and Travis Kelce’s big day, but he still wishes the best for the bride-to-be.
The Rebel without pause crooner further announced that he had received a last-minute invite from the Cruel summer singer with a happy heart.
He said, “No, I didn’t get an invitation to the wedding. I don’t expect one either. You know what I mean? The whole nine.”
“But they know they got my blessings and if she invites me, are you okay with that? Okay. I’m going. King Swiftie will be at the wedding,” Flav claimed.
“I’m King Swiftie. I love the Swifties. A crazy shout out to the Swifties, baby,” he happily proclaimed.
For those who don’t know, Flav has been given the title ‘King Swiftie’ due to his deep admiration for the pop sensation.
He first met Taylor Swift at the iHeartRadio Awards in March 2023 and then for a second time at the Grammy Awards in February 2024.
