George Clooney proves that his influence extends far beyond the large screen. The 64-year-old actor unveiled at the New York Film Festival that he subtly sent his Jay Kelly Co star Adam Sandler to sharper fashion choices.

The two stars came in deep navy blue suits at the festival and combined their appearance with sleek black leather shoes.
While Clooney opted for a fresh white shirt, Sandler chose a more relaxed black button-down top. The style shift is not just a one -off.
Sandler also fitted in a tuxedo in a black butterfly tie at the Venice Film Festival from 2025, another moment when he coordinated with Clooney.
Nevertheless, Sandler’s casual aesthetics, oversized T -pieces, shorts and sneakers remain a popular part of his identity.
In July the comedian joked about being seen as a style icon, telling Complex“It’s funny as hell. And when one of my children or their friends talks about it … My wife is:” What are we talking about now? How did that happen? ”
He also credited his wife Jackie because he always supported his comfort-first wardrobe and said, “She is so comfortable. Let him do that. Leave him alone.”
Although his friendship with Sandler keeps red carpets stylish, Clooney also opens the next phase of his career.

For Clooney, the joy of influencing Sandler’s wardrobe and making films nowadays seems to come in second place for something much more meaningful, time with his children.
