George Strait just turned one big comeback in his home state into two.
On Monday, November 17, the country legend announced the addition of a second show in Lubbock after fans rushed to get tickets for what was originally billed as a “one night only” event.
Strait, 73, first announced his April 25, 2026 concert at AT&T Stadium in Texas earlier this month, marking his first performance in Lubbock in more than a decade. But as demand skyrocketed, he revealed he’s opening the doors a night early.
The April 24 show will feature Zach Top and Dylan Gossett, while the original date pairs him with Miranda Lambert and Hudson Westbrook.
Anyone wanting to see Strait live should act quickly. Presales for both concerts begin today, November 17, at 10 a.m. CST via Strait’s website, with general tickets available on November 21.
The Grammy-winning singer is also gearing up for another big moment. Strait returns to Clemson University’s Memorial Stadium – also known as Death Valley – on May 2, 2026, his first show there in 25 years.
Strait has taken a selective approach to touring in recent years, performing limited shows each spring and summer. Still, fans continue to hope for a bigger tour.
