Gethin Jones is stepping into a new role as he takes a short break from his regular hosting duties Morning live.
In his absence, co-host Helen Skelton presented the show alongside Scottish presenter Gordon Smart in the episode which aired on Tuesday 14 October.
Interestingly enough, the 47-year-old is preparing for a special performance in a production of Sleeping Beauty in Cardiff.
From December 6 to January 4, he will demonstrate his acting skills in the role of ‘Prince Gethin’.
Due to the production’s demanding schedule, Gethin will likely miss his usual 9:30 a.m. timeslot Morning livewhere he usually appears alongside Helen, a duo that often makes headlines for their rumored relationship.
The two were last seen together in September 2025, enjoying a nice lunch.
However, reports now suggest the couple are ‘cooling things off’.
Gethin’s return to Cardiff for the stage role adds a new layer to the speculation, especially after Helen recently shared a behind-the-scenes clip featuring Gethin and the rest of the film. Morning live team.
