Heidi Klum has once again proven why she’s hailed as the ultimate queen of Halloween.
The 52-year-old supermodel unveiled a breathtaking transformation this year, arriving at her iconic Halloween party in New York City on Friday, October 31, dressed as the mythological Medusa.
Her elaborate appearance consisted of a serpentine tail, intricate makeup, and moving snakes slithering through her hair, making her almost unrecognizable.
Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, complemented her transformation perfectly, appearing as a Greek soldier turned to stone – a nod to Medusa’s deadly gaze.
In Greek mythology, anyone who looks directly at Medusa is immediately turned to stone. Despite his petrified state, Kaulitz said People magazine on the red carpet that he found Klum’s appearance ‘sexy’.
Klum, ever playful, added, “I think he looks super hot.”
On Instagram, the model gave fans a closer look at her ensemble and captioned a video: “HAPPY HEIDIWEEN. Don’t stare too long or you’ll turn to stone.”
She also playfully hissed at photographers and wielded a bow and arrow as she struck dramatic poses on the red carpet.
The America has talent the jury showed glimpses into her creative process throughout the day, sharing behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the extensive makeup work.
She credited famed makeup designer Mike Marino, a three-time Oscar nominee The Batman, next 2 AmericaAnd Another man. Marino, who also earned an Emmy for transforming Colin Farrell into The Penguin, was behind Klum’s stunning look.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Klum’s star-studded Halloween party, first launched in 2000. After a brief hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Klum returned full force to her favorite night of the year.
