Hilary Duff is back in the studio full time!
The pop star announced her first album in 10 years in a press release on Friday, November 21. Title Luck…or something like thather seventh studio album will be released on February 20, 2026 and marks her most personal project to date.
“I’m often asked how I still enjoy it after growing up in this industry,” says 38-year-old Duff in the press release. She explained that the title refers to how she survived the chaos of fame. “It’s luck, but there’s also a lot of weight in the ‘…or something like that.’ A lot of the things I experienced along the way are held there, and I feel like that’s ultimately what shaped me.
The album news follows the release of Adulther first single in ten years. The song came with a moody video and a message that Duff says comes from a deep place.
“Adult is a little conversation my current self has with my younger self,” she said earlier this month. “The two of us reflect on a past experience and send love to each other. It’s a chuckle, a wink and a feeling of gratitude that we are certainly where we have landed.”
Duff co-wrote the song with her husband Matthew Koma and Madison Love. She shares three daughters with Koma and also has a son with ex-husband Mike Comrie. After years of choosing family time over studio time, Duff shared Fashion she finally feels ready.
“Being 38 and building a family that looks like what I always dreamed of, I feel like I can step back and take some time to do this for myself,” she said. “It feels like a victory lap.”
