Hoda Kotb may be preparing for a full-time return to Today!
With co-host Savannah Guthrie taking some time off from the show following the kidnapping of her 84-year-old mother, insiders believe Kotb may return as a full-time co-host.
An insider said Radaronline, “This isn’t just about feelings. It’s about the franchise.”
She added: “Morning TV is a multi-million dollar machine. They need stability. They need a steady hand. That hand is Hoda.”
While Kotb recently made an emotional comeback and temporarily replaced Guthrie, the source said, “Hoda’s intervention was not random.”
They added: “Serious emergency conversations are taking place. The show cannot be left in the dark.”
Insiders suggest that while everyone wants Savanna back, “but today is a business – and companies are making backup plans.”
Hoda Kotb resigned from her role as host Today in September 2025 after being part of the show for 17 years. She stated at the time that the reason for quitting the show was to spend more time with her children.
