Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly considering the former This morning presenter Holly Willoughby and Strictly jury member Anton Du Beke as potential replacements for Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.
Last week, the beloved presenting duo stunned fans by announcing on social media that they would be stepping down from the BBC featured at the end of the current series.
In a joint video, Claudia and Tess said they would “always leave together,” adding that “now feels like the right time.”
Their announcement surprised fans and fellow judges alike.

After their departure announcement, speculation quickly arose about who might take over.

However, according to Closer magazine, producers are now looking at Holly Willoughby, 44, and Anton Du Beke, 59, as the frontrunners to take on the iconic roles.

The source went on to claim that Holly “would be over the moon” to co-host with Anton and “checks a lot of the boxes.”
For those unfamiliar, Tess has been presenting the show since its inception in 2004, with Claudia taking over from the late Bruce Forsyth in 2014.
