Katy Perry’s new boyfriend, Justin Trudeau, entered her life at a pivotal time as she focused on her single life after ending a long-term relationship with now ex-fiance, Orlando Bloom.
The former Prime Minister, 53, proved his love for the pop star, 41, through ‘great efforts’ and she made room for love in her life again.
The couple, who recently officially confirmed their romance, have met regularly despite the relationship AND hitmaker traveling for her Lifetimes tour, and an insider said their relationship has become very special for both of them.
Speaking of Perry and Trudeau, the insider said People magazine“Justin always makes an effort to see her and she is excited about it,” adding that the Teen dream singer “has a lot of fun with him.”
They noted that Perry’s relationship with the politician is “exactly what she needs right now.”
Trudeau and the Dark horse singer made their first official appearance as a couple for Perry’s birthday during a cabaret performance at Crazy Horse Paris.
Days later, during her show in Prague, Perry hinted at her love life by sharing that she was “dating someone else” when a fan asked for her hand in marriage.
