Taylor Swift almost crossed paths with one of her exes!
The ‘Life of a Showgirl’ artist and her ex-boyfriend, John Mayer, narrowly avoided an awkward encounter at a recent Paul McCartney concert in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.
On Sunday, March 28, Taylor stepped out to attend Paul’s concert at the Fonda Theater. His first shows of 2026 also marked his first live performance since the finale of his 2025 ‘Got Back’ Tour.
The outlet reported that Taylor was speaking with Olivia Rodrigo and her other friends at the Fonda Theater, and at the same time, John was also socializing with other guests at the star-studded event.
According to the photos published by the media, both exes were at the show, but did not cross paths.
And Taylor used John’s alternate exit to leave the theater, apparently minimizing the chance of an awkward moment.
For those unfamiliar, Taylor and John dated for a brief period in 2009.
Taylor was only 19 at the time, while John was 32 years old.
After their breakup, it was reported that Taylor’s song “Dear John” was about their short-lived relationship.
