Howard Stern recently set the record straight on his apparent feud with Oprah Winfrey.
The American media personality was asked about Oprah after previously criticizing her for flaunting her wealth during an interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM, Andy Cohen Live.
To which Howard replied, “No, I love Oprah.”
“I follow Oprah. I like watching Oprah,” the 71-year-old noted.
Howard opened up that the media mogul “seems oblivious to the way she displays her wealth.”
“I’m not saying she’s wrong. We all know she’s rich. But right now in the world there is such a huge inequality between those who have and those who don’t, and it’s only getting worse,” the radio host explained.
Elsewhere in the interview, Howard said he has never met Oprah, but knows their mutual friend Gayle King.
“I think at one point Gayle suggested, ‘Oh, we should get together with Oprah.’ I said, ‘You better check with Oprah about this. You better. Don’t surprise her with me.’” the radio host said.
However, Howard still thinks it’s “funny” to see how Oprah is “unapologetically rich.”
“Good for her! I don’t hate Oprah at all. I think she’s brilliant,” he told Andy.
For those unfamiliar, Howard slammed Oprah on his 2022 show, claiming she flaunted her wealth on Instagram.
“You have to be a little self-aware and know that there are people who are having a hard time,” he said at the time Business insider.
