Hugh Jackman recalls onstage accident during ‘Beauty and the Beast’ performance

Hugh jackman has opened up about a shocking accident while performing at the Beauty and the Beast.

Speaking of Howard Stern Sirius XM During this week’s show, the Wolverine star recalled the moment he found himself “soaked from the waist down” on stage.

Jackman said he was suffering from headaches and was advised by a naturopath, who said: “You’re dehydrated. You need to drink a lot, you need to drink a lot of water, drink it before five o’clock, like gallons of water.”

“So that first day I drank two liters because I was like, and you’re crazy. You can see what’s happening,” Jackman said.

He recalled the musical Beauty and the Beast: “The first song I sing, ‘You only dreamed one dream,’ is really bad, it was so hard to get through. I had to pick her up, I had to drag her around, I had to sing.”

“When I picked Belle up, a little bit of p**s came out and I’m wearing red tights. And then I was like, uh oh,” Jackman added.

According to Jackman, his scene partner knew something was wrong: “Belle is over my shoulder asking, ‘What’s going on?’ She says, “What’s going on?” because I stopped singing, I just marched around.”

Jackman said, “At the end of the song I had a choice. You sing that F sharp and I sing it, pee my pants, or I don’t sing it and humiliate myself.”

I added, “So I sang it and it just went, it just went all the way. And I immediately, instead of taking my bow, spun on stage. I just jumped around and looked down and there was nothing,” jokingly noting that his costume became “like a wetsuit.”

“I laugh to myself when I think my boot is filled with p***, and both boots are filled with p***,” said Hugh Jackman.
