Lahore: The Indian Media claimed on Tuesday that the International Cricket Council (ICC) has rejected Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to remove the competition referee Andy Pycroft from the current Asia Cup.
According to the reports, the ICC formally informed the PCB last night about its decision, in which Pakistan’s position was rejected that Pycroft had acted on behalf of the Indian team.
The PCB had submitted an official complaint to the ICC and accused Pycroft to violate the “Spirit of Cricket” by reporting the Pakistan and India captains not to shake hands for the throw for their Asia Cup 2025 -resistant value on Sunday.
The complaint also referred to the absence of the usual handshake between the two sides after the game.
