American TV presenter Savannah Guthrie plans to honor her mother Nancy, who was kidnapped earlier this month, with a big step.
According to expert Rob Shuter, Savannah says there are plans to honor her mother by reclaiming her seat.
Quoting insiders, the pundit said: “Savannah Guthrie returns to Today – ‘She Won’t Let This Take Her Dream.’”
The source claimed that as the heartbreaking search for Nancy continues, permanently stepping away from the show is not an option.
An old friend of Savannah’s has said, “Her mother sacrificed everything so that Savannah could pursue this career. To walk away now would feel like darkness is winning.”
However, the closest confidante said she is “devastated – but determined.”
Savannah ‘absolutely’ loves her family and her job,” the insider says, explaining, “Those two things can coexist. They have to.”
Savannah spent decades working her way to the anchor chair of America’s number one morning show.
Friends say she refuses to let the tragedy define the rest of her story.
The source continued, “They may have taken her mother,” “but they won’t take her career away too.”
“It will be emotional. It will be difficult,” another source admitted. “But she’ll be back. In honor of her mother.”
