Ja Rule can’t wait to become a grandfather.
On Thursday, November 13, the 49-year-old American rapper and singer attended Dream360’s grand opening party in New Jersey, where he spoke with PEOPLE magazine.
Speaking to the outlet, Rule said he has been over the moon since learning he was becoming a grandfather.
The Life is not a game crooner admitted he is “very happy and excited” to welcome his first grandchild into his family.
He joked: “It’s a blessing. I’m very happy and excited. My first child was my daughter, a girl, and my first grandchild will also be a girl.”
Rule, the soon-to-be grandfather, said the little new addition to his family will definitely give him another chance to be gentler.
“If I wasn’t soft enough, we’ll take a second dose of it, but I’m so happy,” he expressed. “I can’t wait to see her.”
“It’s weird, you get older and then you get back into little people mode. You want a little person in the house again. All my kids are grown, so it’s been a long time, so it’s going to be a lot of fun for me and the wife,” says the Beautiful hitmaker explained.
For those who don’t know, Ja Rule is the father of three children, Brittney, Jeffrey Jr. and Jordan with his wife Aisha Atkins.
It is pertinent to mention that his daughter Brittney is pregnant with her first child with husband Tevin Atiken.
