Jaden Ivey sparks concern after ‘judgment day’ claims and religious posts on social media

Jaden Ivey has sparked concern among fans and analysts after posting a series of religious messages and comments on social media.

According to reports, NBA insider Evan Sidery highlighted the situation on X, writing, “There is growing concern surrounding Jaden Ivey.”

He added that the player had shared lengthy online videos and deleted most of his social media presence.

“Ivey, who admitted to dealing with depression this year, has deleted all social media and now single-handedly posts hour-long religious rants on Instagram,” Sidery wrote.

In one video, Ivey spoke about faith and judgment, saying, “You guys aren’t taking the word of God seriously.”

“…The Lord is not going to say on the Day of Judgment, ‘What is the updated score? What is the score of Purdue Boilermakers? What is the score of the Detroit Pistons? Jesus is not going to say that on the Day of Judgment.’

“He’s going to say, ‘What have you done for my kingdom?'”

The Chicago Bulls guard also engaged with fans online, including through posts expressing strong views on religion.
