Jenna Ortega is reportedly an advocate for inner beauty.
In a resurfaced interview from last year ahead of the release of the second part of Season 2 on Wednesday, the actress had a candid chat with Who What Wear as she shared tips and tricks for looking beautiful.
“Beauty is how you represent yourself. It’s a pretty important piece of the puzzle,” she began.
The Scream actress emphasized the importance of hair styling and makeup for her roles in films, sharing, “Often with characters, it’s one of my favorite parts of the job, talking to the hair and makeup artist and establishing what the look is going to be, because the character gets herself ready every day.”
“It’s really interesting and insightful to know what’s important to them and how they want to be seen. When I’m getting ready for these characters, I often play with the makeup myself, and then we go from there so that I have the experience of putting it on and figuring out what comes natural to me,” Ortega continued.
Meanwhile, the Hollywood actress detailed her look for her famous character Wednesday Addams.
“But of course it also lends itself. Sometimes, if you don’t quite know who the character is, and you try something, they tell you what they want or don’t want,” she told the outlet.
“For example, [when playing] Wednesday Addams, it was very clear when something wasn’t pale enough, dark enough or gray enough; it’s very intuitive,” concluded Jenna Ortega.
