Jennifer Garner recently revealed what made her start her farming brand on social media.
The 13 Continue 30 actress turns to Instagram to share a video describing how the passion for her food brand, Once Upon A Farm, emerged from the challenges of motherhood.
“Once Upon a Farm was a no-brainer as a working mom. I remember coming home from work. I was shooting The kingdom. I had my first baby,” recalls the Alias actress, who also shows photos of daughter Violet when she was very young.
Jennifer says, “I remember being covered in fake blood and dirt and just standing at the blender crying.”
“Making baby food was confusing and messy. I didn’t know if my baby was getting the right nutrition,” says the 53-year-old.
In the clip, Jennifer explains that she wanted to help fellow moms with their babies’ schedules and healthy food choices.
“Once Upon a Farm would have been a no-brainer, game-changer and day saver. It was so clear that Cassandra [Curtis] founded this company with the goal of feeding babies and children with organic, real food. I wanted to be part of what she was building,” says the Electricity actress.
In the caption, Jennifer reveals that she has been working as a co-founder for eight years.
“For what it’s worth, this is my why,” she adds.
Meanwhile, fans are praising Jennifer’s efforts with one writing: ‘You have made so many families’ lives better with your ‘why’. Thank you for making such an important aspect of parenting easier.”
Another comment: “I love this story and this brand!”
“This extends beyond her legacy as an award-winning actress. Her legacy will be one of giving back and helping to improve lives, especially for children,” said another.
