Jennifer Garner admitted that her three children with Ben Affleck find her career “completely cringe-inducing.”
The 13 Going on 30 star, who shares three children with Affleck after their 2005-2018 marriage, opened up about the topic while watching season two of The last thing he told me.
Speaking The Jennifer Hudson ShowGarner joked that her kids find her “completely cringe-worthy,” and recalled how they responded when she asked if they planned to watch the new season.
“I’m just embarrassed,” she said, revealing, “I asked my kids if they were going to watch this season of the show, and they said, ‘Do you need that?'”
She added that her co-stars help boost her image at home, especially with her son, who is currently a fan of Game of Thrones.
“Angourie gives me cool points,” she noted, and turning to Nikolaj, she added, “My son is really into Game of Thrones at the moment, so thanks.”
Garner also noted that her children are close to her longtime boyfriend and 13 Goes through 30 co-star Judy Greer, which also helps her reputation at home.
“And my kids all love Aunt Judy. I get by with a little help from my friends,” Jennifer also said of Greer.
Season two of The last thing he told meproduced by Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, follows Garner’s character as she and her stepdaughter discover the truth behind her husband’s sudden disappearance.
