Jennifer Garner’s mother thinks she’s the best part of the show

Jennifer Garner revealed that her mother, Patricia, has become a breakout star on her beloved Pretend Cooking Show.

In an interview with People magazineGarner said of her mother, “She’s so funny.”

She adds, “She loves it. She loves being recognized. She loves it when people say hi to her. She’s very opinionated about what we should and shouldn’t do.”

“She likes to tell me that her episodes are the top performers and the best,” Garner also noted.

She said: “I’m sure she’s right because she’s been right about everything for the past 53 years of my life. Why not the next one?”

Additionally, Jennifer Garner noticed two episodes from her series that featured her mother sharing recipes from her kitchen.

She said, “I always love it when my mom is with me because she’s so cute and she’s just the best and I love it.”

“And she’s a serious scene partner. I loved it, at first we made bagels and that was funny. And then another time I made boeuf bourguignon and almost burned my kitchen and that’s another good one,” Garner added.

During the same conversation, the actress, mother of three, revealed the most meaningful thing she baked for her family.

Garner, who shares her children with ex Ben Affleck, added: “I’ve probably baked a hundred million birthday cakes. I mean, if you think about it, I’ve been a mom for 20 years. And so 20 plus 17 plus 14 cakes plus whoever, that’s a lot of cakes.”

“The smell of fresh bread in the house is something that means a lot to me because when I was growing up, my mother made bread on Sundays and it was always like that: it made the house feel like home.

“There is something very safe about the smell of bread being baked in the house. There is nothing more nurturing in the world than fresh home-baked bread,” she added.
