Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are reportedly all set to return to the world of The Hunger Games!
According to THRthe 35-year-old actress will reprise her role as Katniss Everdeen in the anticipated 2026 prequel, The Hunger Games: Sunrise during the harvest, while the 33-year-old actor will once again play Peeta Mellark.
However, further details about the new sequel are currently unknown.
Shortly after the announcement, fans of the series flocked to X to express their excitement about the pair’s return to the franchise.
One of the social media users wrote, “This is how FANDOMS SHOULD BE HONORED,” while another commented, “This is what we have been waiting for.”

Earlier this year, Josh expressed his desire to return to the Hunger Games franchise.
“I would love to be back on set with Francis, with Jen, with Liam [Hemsworth]with Woody,” he shared Variety.
“It doesn’t take any convincing at all. I’d be there in a second,” Josh added.
