Jennifer Lawrence has finally revealed why she doesn’t watch her own movies.
In conversation with actor Leonardo DiCaprio for Varietythe 35-year-old actress said she doesn’t like seeing herself on the big screen.
“No [I don’t watch my own films]’, the Oscar-winning actress admitted. ‘I’ve never done anything like Titanic – if I did, I’d watch it.
“When I was really drunk, I put on American Hustle. I thought, I wonder if I’m good at acting? I put it on and I don’t know what the answer is anymore,” she added.
Jennifer, one of the highest-paid stars in Hollywood, told Leonardo that she learned a lot about acting while working with director David O. Russell.
“He really taught me how to act,” the actor explained No hard feelings actress. “I want to be sensitive to the other actors who worked with him. I know he’s tough. He can be very, very tough on people.”
“For me, I don’t know if it was because I grew up playing sports, and I felt like he was just a strict coach. ‘Do it loud,’ ‘Do it quieter,’ ‘That was damned,’ ‘That was bad,’ ‘Do it better.’ He was very honest with me,” she continued.
Jennifer added, “I was 21 when I did Silver Linings and it felt alive. I never felt like he was yelling at me. I really don’t like walking around on my toes, like I’m an emotional landmine. I hate that.”
