Jessica Alba talked about filming daring scenes in the 2005 film Fantastic four.
During a recent conversation at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia on December 5, the 44-year-old actress confessed that including intimate scenes in the film was “humiliating.” New York Post.
“I hated that. It was very humiliating in real life,” she admitted.
Alba further explained, “I grew up in a pretty conservative family, and I’m a pretty modest person. I was scared of that scene for weeks. I have a lot of whiplash from that time.”
Regardless, Alba noted that her character of Sue Storm was “a woman I looked up to.”
“She was very motherly and very kind, but not a braggart either; she said what she thought,” she noted.
“She had a great moral compass,” Alba said of the role. “No matter who you are, you can look up to her. Often the women in these stories have to be saved by a man or the villain, the problem in the story. This was then. Now it’s different.”
It is pertinent to mention that Alba starred as Invisible Woman in the film, alongside Julian McMahon as Dr Doom, Michael Chiklis as The Thing, Chris Evans as The Human Torch and Ioan Gruffudd as Mister Fantastic.
