Jessie Buckley has claimed she is all about cats, after previously expressing her reservations about them.
Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jessie defended previous comments about cats and emphasized that she is a “cat lover.”
She began, “I need to clarify something for all the cat lovers in the world.”
“I’m a lover of cats. I woke up this morning in the world with the idea that I really don’t like cats, and that weighed heavily on me all day. I felt sick,” she further referred to the backlash she faced after previous comments.
She mentioned that she is mostly a dog person and claimed that she also likes cats.
“I want to say to cat people that I once auditioned to be a cat. And there have been misconceptions because of an interview I did. They asked me if I was a dog or a cat [person] and I think I’m probably one-quarter cat and three-quarters dog.”
To this, Jimmy noted that he is 100% a dog person, prompting her to add, “Anyway, I love cats.”
Remarkably, she raised eyebrows in November when she admitted she gave Freddie Sorensen an ultimatum before agreeing to move in with him about cats.
Speaking about the Happy sad confused podcastshe said, “I don’t like cats… cats are mean.”
“My husband, when I started dating him, he had two cats. This is bad, so I’m getting canceled.
“But one of the cats was a breed model, b****. And she staged a coup against me.
“I’d come home and I’d think, poop on the pillow. And I’d think, ‘It’s me or the cats.'”
She concluded, “I won.”
