John Cusack is gearing up to give fans an exciting surprise on late night television

John Cusack is gearing up to promote his big project this summer.

The Coincidence actor has made his way into the comic book world by writing his debut graphic novel, Momo.

Mad Cave Studios will release Cusak’s upcoming novel in July 2026, during San Diego Comic-Con 2026.

Book’s promotion has become his entire focus for 2026 and will benefit from late-night talk shows.

Using conceptual roots, Cusack began to develop Momo Years ago, and in 2010, artist Ignacio Noé made early comic work for Damian Hirst’s company Other Criteria.

The project gained momentum when Hirst heard about the Say everything actor’s script, written after seeking inspiration from secret documents on drug routes from the 1970s that Cusack and Hirst inspected together.

From 150 original pages, the script went to 192 pages as they were developing it, as Noé showed tireless efforts to decode and envision Cusack’s vision.

With his unwavering dedication, Noé ultimately created what Mad Cave VP Mark Irwin calls the “best work of Noé’s career.”

Cusacks Momo has interwoven elements of conspiracy theories, cosmic horror and surreal fantasy into one fiery story, in which two criminals on the run deliver a cryptic artifact to iconic television artist Jackie Gleason.

In particular, their mission turns into chaos when they encounter mystical creatures, demon-possessed monsters and occult actors.
